Bank One Annual Report 2024

We took on the revamp of Bank One’s identity, and this annual report became its first stage, rolling out the new tagline: ‘Empowering your prosperity’.

We positioned Bank One as a financial partner rooted in Mauritius, yet connected to the world. We also perfected the tone of voice. Bank One speaks with the confidence of a seasoned financial partner, bringing clarity and insight to a complex world.

Adinkra and Ubuntu symbols found their way into the graphic identity, not as the main act, but as a backdrop. A visual thread. A nod to the bank’s African roots and its philosophy of connection and collective growth. They add depth and meaning without

overshadowing the modern, international and premium aesthetic we were after, threading together heritage and ambition, much like Bank One itself bridges people, markets and opportunities. And yes, we built another microsite.

This annual report had a special ring to it: Bank One was turning 15.

To mark the occasion, we wove Ubuntu symbols throughout the report as a nod to the African continent. The idea was simple but powerful: Bank One may call our small island home, but its ambitions stretch far beyond the horizon.

Rooted in African culture, these symbols each carry their own meaning and story. We transformed them into rich patterns to reflect how these values are stitched into Bank One’s very DNA. We kept the narrative alive through design, while staying culturally grounded and genuinely inspiring. Oh, and we built a microsite that year too.
